Part of the Latin Vibes Festival & Warsaw Bachata Meet Up series

The biggest bachata social competition in Europe is coming to Budapest — and this time, the iconic Verdi Budapest Aquincum Hotel is our stage.

This is the Hungary stop of a continent-wide tour, bringing together the finest social dancers from Poland, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and beyond. The best performers here will earn their place at the World Final in Warsaw — so the stakes are real, the energy is electric, and the dance floor will be unforgettable.

The Competition Format

The competition is built around pure social dancing — no choreography, no rehearsed routines. Just you, the music, and your partner.

Three qualification rounds take place across the event:

• Round 1 – Plus or Minus: Every leader dances with every follower. The jury awards a + or – to each dancer. Those with a + advance.

• Round 2 – Lead & Follow: Again, every pairing dances together. The jury identifies the top three dancers per role and assigns scores.

• Round 3 – Jury & Competitors: Jury members dance directly with the competitors and select the winners.

Only improvisation. Only individual. Only social.

Qualify for the World Final 🏆

Every dancer who reaches the semi-final earns automatic qualification to the World Final in Warsaw (November). This is your chance to represent Hungary on the biggest stage.
